For many years Victor and Maartje follow their own, artistic path in filmmaking. This film is a good example of their talent: no dialogue, shot in black & white, and full of good ideas about image and sound. This particular scene is really only about sound. Crepuscule is a beautiful old word for dusk. Or maybe a little more than just dusk: the moment dusk becomes night. Black & white seems to reach towards that what is preceding the darkness.
