HET ZWIJGEN
FEATURE BY ANDRÉ VAN DER HOUT EN ADRI SCHROVER, WATERLAND FILM 2005
(sound design and mix)
This is a film about a song, a song about a murder. Victor Dreisen is chasing clues in the text of this song to try to find out what happened in the past, but he gets consumed in the process. The song was written by the dutch band DE KIFT and performed by NYNKE LAVERMAN, one of the best singers in Holland. The score of the film was written by the Russian composer SERGEI ZHUKOV and performed by the CITY OF PRAHA PHILHARMONIC orchestra. We used his music in combination with the song by Nynke Laverman and got very interesting results, as you can hear in the end of this scene. All in all, working on this production was a real feast to our ears.
