HITTE / HARARA
TELEFILM BY LODEWIJK CRIJNS, IDTV 2008 (sound design and mix)
We worked before with Lodewijk on two shorts (DOKTER VOGEL and TURKSE CHICK, also to be found on this website) and working with him on this film was, again, a lot of fun. Lodewijk is always searching for the extreme and pushes us all to boldly go where no man has gone before. We also want to mention the music, a caleidoscopic almost non stop track, done by Bart van de Lisdonk.
The film is about two friends, Raja (Dutch-Moroccan) and Nancy (Dutch), both around twenty years old, travel by car to Morocco to buy furniture for their new henna and nail studio. Because of their close friendship, they feel they can take on anything. In Morocco Raja and Nancy are involved in a car crash, caused by Miloud, a Moroccan boy. What happens then will changes the lives of the two girls forever.
