This film is based on the childrens books of Francine Oomen. Rosa is thirteen years old when her parents divorse and she has to move with her mother to a new city. There they form a new family with her mothers new husband and her little half-brother. In this new city she has no friends, she has to go to a new school and she hates her steph-father. All this while she feels insecure, fat and ugly. How to survive?
