This family-film tells the story of Winky Wong, a chinese girl that immigrates to Holland with her parents. At school, Winky learns about Sinterklaas: a very old man with a beard who, on his birthday, the fifth of December, gives presents to children. Released in 35 mm print.
This film was very successfull with more than 360.000 visitors and was re-released in oktober 2006. It won the following prizes: People's Choice Award, Montreal International Children's Film Festival 2006, FNAC Public Choice Award, Film Festival Gent, Belgium 2005, Gouden Film, Nederlands Film Festival, Nederlands Fonds voor de Film 2005, Gouden Kalf Best Screenplay (Tamara Bos), Nederlands Film Festival 2005, Moviesquad Junior Schild 2005, Nominated for Best Feature, Nederlands Film Festival 2005
