In the second season, everything is still the same in Zonnewijk, but the lives of the residents are pretty messed up. After Eva (Bracha van Doesburgh) wakes up from her coma, she returns home with amnesia. Peter (Daan Schuurmans) is commited in a TBS clinic for an indefinite period. Also Steef (Thijs Römer) is stuck in prison, but he is not going to serve his sentence quietly. The unsuspecting Eva meets her new neighbors Steffi (Karina Smulders), Lex (Fedja van Huêt) and their children; The 11-year-old Max and baby Rose. When Eva finds out that her new neighbors are keeping a secret, she uses it to make her long-desired wish to have children come true.
