The NFF (Nederlands Film Festival) announced their selections for Feature Films and
Television Series. We are proud to have done Sound Design for six of these projects. The
feature films are BUMPERKLEEF (TAILGATE), MARIONETTE, KAPSALON ROMY (ROMY’S SALON), APRIL, MAY AND JUNE, MEES KEES IN DE WOLKEN and TV series; HOLLANDS HOOP. The nominations for the Golden Calves will be announced Monday, September 28. The presentation will be at the Grolsch Golden Calves Gala on Friday October 2nd.

Telefilm THE COLUMNIST (DE KUTHOER) by Ivo van Aart is going around the world. This absurd horror film can be seen at film festivals in Germany, Canada and the UK. It’s also selected by streamers in Spain and South Korea.

Feature MARIONETTE by Elbert van Strien, situated in Scotland, has been officially
selected for the Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF). Due to Covid-19 the festival is postponed. However, we are very happy with the recognition.

Telefilm HEMELRIJKEN (FAMILY MATTERS) by Stanley Kolk wins Best Feature at the third edition of the idyllic Santorini Film Festival.

The 2020 Taiwan’s International Children’s Film Festival (TICFF) announced that Best
Dramatic Feature is awarded to ROMY’S SALON (KAPSALON ROMY).

Child psychiatrist Marianne Winter (Thekla Reuten) loses her grip on reality when her tenyear-old patient Manny claims he can control her future. MARIONETTE by Elbert van Strien will get its world premiere at the NFF (Nederlands Film Festival) September 29th.
MARIONETTE will also enter the Golden Calf competition. The feature will be shown in
Dutch cinemas from October 1st.

THE MIRACLE OF THE SARGASSO SEA by Syllas Tzoumerkas can now be seen on Dutch Arthouse channel Picl.nl. De Volkskrant: “ A dark psychodrama and a Lynchian thriller in one ” / “ Papoulia and Boudali are great” Filmkrant: " Is it fantasy? A prayer? A dream? A nightmare? Tzoumerkas plants an idea in your head and lets you decide what it may mean.

Montreal-based sales agent Attraction Distribution will screen road-rage thriller TAILGATE (BUMPERKLEEF) by Lodewijk Crijns at the Cannes’ Marché du Film Online this week. After France, Germany, Russia, Australia, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea the film has now been sold to China and the United Kingdom. Please check out the new international trailer above.

Telefilm HEMELRIJKEN (FAMILY MATTERS) by Stanley Kolk is nominated Best Film at the Santorini Film Festival in Greece. The Film is also selected at VoxFeminae in Croatia and is now showing online at the Greenwich International Film Festival. HEMELRIJKEN (FAMILY MATTERS) already won an award for Best Cinematography at the 7th Noida Filmfestival in India earlier this year.
