VERDWENEN STAD (LOST CITY) in Sound Design
We’re proud to have done Sound Design and Mix for the full length documentary by Willy Lindwer, VERDWENEN STAD (LOST CITY). It tells the unknown story of the Amsterdam city tram that collaborated with the Nazis and deported tens of thousands of Jews to the train stations on their way to the death camps. We experience their last tram ride.
Syllas Tzoumerkas in Amsterdam to mix A BLAST
Greek director Syllas Tzoumerkas is in Amsterdam to mix his feature A BLAST at Studio Vermaas. A BLAST is the compelling story of how the Greek financial crisis turns the life of Maria upside down. “Running away on the highway, Maria is alone in her roaring SUV. Behind her, fire and a case full of money. In front of her, the hopeless vastness of the motorway. Only a day before she was a caring mother, a loving wife, a responsible daughter. Today she has gone rogue.”
Studio Vermaas starts working on MEET ME IN VENICE
We have started work on a new feature by Eddy Terstall called MEET ME IN VENICE; a musical voyage along the route of the Orient Express. “Liza is a young woman who travels to Venice to meet her Italian father Mauro. Mauro has not seen Liza since she was three years old, when he and Liza's mother decided to split up. Mauro has traveled the world since as a musician and hopes to get to know his biological daughter during this brief holiday.”
